Amir Hooshang Mohammadpour ( PharmD, BCPS)

 

Amir Hooshang Mohammadpour received his Pharma.D. degree from  School of Pharmacy, Ahwaz University of Medical Sciences, Ahwaz, Iran in 1999. He continued his education in the field of Clinical Pharmacy in the School of Pharmacy, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran and graduated with the Board of Clinical Pharmacy in 2004.

After graduation in 2004, he continued his career as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. He was then promoted to position of Associate and full Professor in 2010 and 2015, respectively.

He completed a fellowship course in clinical pharmacokinetics from 2012 to 2013 at the University of Rhode Island, RI, USA.

The main focus of Dr. Mohammadpour’s research is clinical pharmacokinetic and pharmacotherapy of cardiovascular disease. He has published over 150 research papers in theses fields. He also has contributed to several book chapters in the field of pharmacotherapy of cardiovascular disease.

He works as a clinical pharmacist in cardiovascular department in Imam Reza Hospital, Mashhad, Iran.

 

Sepideh Elyasi (Pharm.D., Ph.D.),

Associate Professor

Sepideh Elyasi received her Pharm.D. degree in 2009 from school of Pharmacy, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and her Ph.D. in 2013 from the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. Then, she started her career as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and also as a clinical pharmacist in oncology ward of Imam Reza Hospitals, Mashhad, Iran from 2014 to 2018 and thereafter in infectious disease ward of Imam Reza Hospitals, Mashhad.  She was then promoted to position of Associate Professor in 2020. She is interested in designing and conducting clinical trials on various herbal and chemical medications, particularly in oncology and infectious disease fields. Moreover, she is interested in drug use evaluation studies on costly and highly used medication in hospital.

 

Hesamoddin Hosseinjani (Pharm.D., BCPS, Fellowship of Pharmacotherapy in Critical Care)

Assistant Professor

 

Hesamoddin Hosseinjani received his Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the School of Pharmacy, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Mashhad, Iran in 2011. He continued his education in the field of Clinical Pharmacy in the School of Pharmacy, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran and graduated with the Board of Clinical Pharmacy in 2014. Due to interest in critical care pharmacotherapy, he continued his education in this field of study and awarded a Scholarship salary from Cobeldarou company due to achieving the first rank in the 2nd clinical pharmacy fellowship exam. In 2018, he graduated with a Fellowship of Pharmacotherapy in Critical Care degree from the School of Pharmacy, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy, and Imam Reza hospital of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. His research interests are clinical trials in critical care medicine, ADR studies, rational drug prescribing and usage trials, and pharmaco-epidemiological and pharmaco-economical studies.

 

Omid Arasteh

Assistant Professor

Dr. Omid Arasteh received his Pharm.D. degree in 2012 from school of Pharmacy, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and his BCPS. in 2001 from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He is currently Assistant Professor at Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. He is interested in collection and composing of pharmacotherapy books, developing projects and conducting clinical trials in different aspects of pharmacotherapy especially in hematology-oncology pharmacotherapy area, and conducting systematic review and meta-analysis articles. He is also interested in doing pharmacotherapy consultations such as total parenteral nutrition (TPN), therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM), adverse effects, pharmacotherapy, and etc.

 

 Zinat Heidari (Pharm.D., Ph.D.),

Assistant professor,

 

Zinat Heidari received her Pharm.D. degree in 2013 from School of Pharmacy, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Mashhad, Iran. Her Pharm.D thesis was about the production of sustained release systems for insulin delivery. She received the Ph.D. of clinical pharmacy in 2018 from the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. Her PhD thesis investigated the challenge of hypomagnesemia in critically ill patients and the effects of magnesium supplementation on insulin resistance and stress-induced hyperglycemia in this population. She is currently Assistant Professor at Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. She is interested in clinical research in herbal medicines, gastrointestinal disorders, rheumatic diseases, autoimmune diseases, critically ill patients, and pediatric pharmacotherapy.
